Jokowi Admits He Has Not Received A Complaint Sent By Arsjad Rasyid
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) admitted that he had not received a letter of complaint sent by the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) for the period 2021-2026 Arsjad Rasjid. He also admitted that he did not know the contents of the letter.
"It hasn't reached my table yet," said Jokowi when met at Danareksa Tower, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 17.
Jokowi also responded to Arsjad Rasjid's desire to meet to discuss the polemic that occurred within the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He said it was open to meeting anyone.
"Anyone meets me, I'm open. There's no problem. But once again, solve this Kadin problem internally Kadin, don't push the President's hot ball," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) for the period 2021-2026 Arsjad Rasjid admitted that he had written to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) regarding the chaos that occurred due to the 2024 Kadin Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) which appointed Anindya Bakrie as the new chairman.
The letter contains an official statement from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Board which states that the 2024 Kadin Munaslub is illegal.

"We have written to President Jokowi, I have signed the letter," he said in an official statement, Monday, September 16.
Arsjad explained that in Kadin's organization, the government is the supervisor as stipulated in Law Number 1 of 1987 and Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2022. Therefore, his party requested government assistance to pay attention to the chaos that occurred.
"The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's extended family asks for the support of the government as supervisors in accordance with Law No. 1 of 1987 and Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2022 to ensure that the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry continues to run according to the national interests and the stipulated AD/ART," said Arsjad.
