Regarding Kaesang Visiting The Old Building For Clarification Of The Use Of Private Jets, The KPK Says This

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed that the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) visited the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta regarding the viral clarification that he and his wife were riding private jets.

This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika when confirmed about the presence of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) youngest child. Kaesang was indeed present to deliver the private jet facilities he used during the trip to the United States with his wife, Erina Gudono.

"That's right, brother K came to the KPK building, Jalan H. R. Rasuna Said Kavling C1 in the context of reporting gratuities," Tessa told reporters.

Meanwhile, when asked about Kaesang's presence at the old anti-corruption commission office, Tessa said that the Directorate of KPK Gratification was indeed based there. Likewise with the work unit related to prevention.

"The Gratification Directorate is in C1," he said.

Meanwhile, Kaesang was present at the ACLC KPK building at 10.30 WIB. He was seen wearing a white shirt and black trousers.

Kaesang was accompanied by a number of people, including PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni.

After meeting with the KPK, Kaesang admitted that he explained about the use of private jet facilities that caused a stir. The claim he boarded a plane belonging to his friend.

"I conveyed information about my trip to the US who was riding or accompanying a friend of mine," Kaesang told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 17.

Kaesang also said that he had asked the KPK for advice regarding allegations that he had received gratuities from other parties. So, he took the initiative to go to the KPK.

The youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said he did not get a call. "My arrival today to the KPK is because of personal initiative as a good citizen," he said.

"Not because of a written summons or invitation from the KPK even though I am not an official or state administrator," he concluded.
