JCI And Market Capitalization Again Set The Highest Record In The Second Week Of September
JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that based on IDX stock trading data on weekends for the period 9 to 13 September 2024, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) again set a new record and strengthened by 0.18 percent to the level of 7,812.131 from the previous record at the level of 7,798.154 on Thursday, September 12.
In addition, market capitalization also set a record high of IDR 13,390 trillion today, an increase of 4.46 percent, beating the previous record of IDR 13,384 trillion.
According to data a week, the highest increase occurred in the average daily exchange transaction value of 40.10 percent to Rp14.98 trillion from Rp10.69 trillion in the previous week.
Then, the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange increased by 10.79 percent to 23.34 billion shares from 21.97 billion shares the previous week.
The average daily transaction frequency of the Exchange during the week also increased 1.66 percent to 1.14 million transactions from 1.12 million transactions a week earlier.
The stock market capitalization also increased by 1.31 percent to Rp13,390 trillion from Rp13,217 trillion last week.

Today's movement of foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of IDR 17.95 trillion and throughout 2024 foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of IDR 51.40 trillion.
