Mental Disorder, Police Stop The Legal Process Of Mother Kandung Killing 2 Children In Kediri
The police were forced to stop a legal investigation into a mother who killed her two children with the initials MB (14) and BN (9) in Kediri City, East Java. The termination of the case occurred after the mother with the initials IN was declared to have a mental disorder.
"Because IN has been declared to have suffered from serious mental disorders, the legal process has been automatically stopped," said Kediri City Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Iptu Fathur Rozikin, Friday, September 13.
Fathur explained, because of the perpetrator's mental condition, the officers had not been able to determine the exact motive behind the murder of the two children.
This tragic incident allegedly occurred on Tuesday, September 3 when the mother attacked her two children using a machete sleeping soundly on the bed at around 03.00 in the morning.
For no apparent reason, the mother used a machete to injure her two children to death. This action was witnessed directly by the husband of the perpetrator, Zakaria, who woke up because he heard the sound of his children's screams.
