No Additional, Ministry Of Industry Gets A Budget Of IDR 2.5 Trillion For 2025
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is certain to not get an additional budget for 2025. It is known that the Ministry of Industry's budget next year is IDR 2.5 trillion.
"Based on the results of the discussion meeting on the Bill on the 2025 budget year (TA), we can convey that the budget allocation ceiling of the Ministry of Industry in 2025 has not been adjusted or there has been no change in the budget ceiling. The budget allocation ceiling in 2025 is IDR 2.5 trillion," said Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita in a working meeting (Raker) with Commission VII DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 12.
Agus also detailed the budget based on echelon I units. For the Secretariat General (Setjen) amounting to Rp294.1 billion, the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Agro Industry Rp99.10 billion and the Directorate General of Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Textile Industries (IKFT) Rp100.2 billion.
Then, for the Directorate General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment and Electronics (Ilmate) amounting to Rp106.8 billion, the Directorate General of Small, Medium and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) Rp328.3 billion and for the Inspectorate General (Itjen) Rp44.2 billion.
Then, for the Standardization and Industrial Services Policy Agency (BSKJI) amounting to Rp676.8 billion, the Directorate General of Resilience, Region and International Industrial Access (KPAII) Rp99 billion and for the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) Rp770.8 billion.
"Meanwhile, we can convey the details of the 2025 budget allocation ceiling based on the program as follows. First, the management support program of IDR 1.6 trillion, added value programs and industrial competitiveness programs of IDR 668 billion and vocational education and training programs of IDR 195.4 billion," he said.
Then, Agus expressed his gratitude to Commission VII DPR RI for fighting for additional budget for the Ministry of Industry.
According to him, Commission VII of the DPR RI has made maximum efforts so that the Ministry of Industry can get additional budgets.
"We give our deepest appreciation and gratitude to Commission VII DPR RI, especially the Budget Agency (Banggar) Commission VII, which until the last moments are still trying to fight for an increase in the budget for the Ministry of Industry in FY 2025. God willing, the honorable leadership and all members of Commission VII, an increase in the budget for the Ministry of Industry will occur in the next budget discussion mechanism and I am sure of that," he said.

Responding to this, the Chairman of Commission VII DPR RI Dony Maryadi Oekon said that his party had made maximum efforts so that there would be an additional budget for the Ministry of Industry.
However, in the end, the Budget Agency (Banggar) still decided that the Ministry of Industry's budget ceiling for 2025 would be IDR 2.5 trillion.
"We are from Commission VII who did fight for Pak for Banggar yesterday. Including me, I am also in Banggar, but frankly we are doing it optimally and not just stopping here. In the future, we will also fight for the addition of the budget, sir, with the way we work together with the government to fight for this budget," explained Dony.
"Commission VII of the DPR RI approved the budget ceiling of the Ministry of Industry for FY 2025 based on the results of adjustments to the Banggar DPR RI amounting to Rp2.5 trillion," he added.
