Trenggono And Siti Nurbaya Compact Goodbye To Commission IV Of The DPR, Convey Sorrys

JAKARTA - Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KP) Sakti Wahyu Trenggono and Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) Siti Nurbaya said goodbye to Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Trenggono initially expressed his goodbye and thank you.

"The honorable chairman and all members of Commission IV DPR RI, with the greatest respect and deep gratitude, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for the support and cooperation of the leadership and all members of Commission IV DPR RI while I was assigned to become Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries," he said at a working meeting (Raker) with Commission IV DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 12.

Trenggono assessed that in guarding marine and fishery development, collaboration between Commission IV of the DPR and the government is the key to success in overcoming various challenges in the KP sector.

"I apologize if there are things that are not pleasing to us while we cooperate and interact. I hope that good cooperation between the KKP and Commission IV of the DPR RI can continue in the future. So that the Indonesian marine and fisheries sector will progress, be competitive, fair and realize prosperity for all Indonesian people," he said.

Then, followed by Minister Siti Nurbaya who expressed his gratitude to Commission IV of the DPR for his 10-year collaboration. According to him, the success of the KLHK program cannot be separated from the support of the DPR RI.

"I thank you and very high appreciation, thank you for being with five to 10 years. Thank you very much for the corrective steps that the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has taken and that can only happen from and with critical notes and directions as well as the blessing of the honorable leadership and members of Commission IV," he said.

Siti Nurbaya also apologized if there were shortcomings during her tenure in 10 years. He considered that so far the collaboration between the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives has encouraged the community-based program to be very optimal.

"I apologize for things that are not quite right for five to 10 years. We once again express our gratitude and our apologies. Thank you for the community-based program which very clearly encourages the executive to work optimally for the people," he added.
