Bentley Officially Released Flying Spur PHEV With A More Powered V8 Machine
JAKARTA - Recently, Bentley launched the latest Flying Spur with a number of upgrades, one of which is now available with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain for the first time in the series.
Launching from the brand's official website, Wednesday, September 11, this car has the latest designs with a goal, front bumper, and a new diffuser that gives a fresher look and creates a sporty element.
The fourth generation also has the latest Welcome Lamps LED which is placed at the door providing an animation of the Bentley Wings' logo that radiates downward every time the front door opens.
The four-door-style sedan is also given a new 22-inch Ten Swedish Spokesheet which is available in two finishings, namely Grey Painted/Bright Machined and Black Painted), along with two other designs offered in Black Pained, Dark Tint, and Pale Brodgar Satin.
Moving to the inside, passengers can enjoy the appearance of a new seat that has a 3D diamond layer and the latest perforation pattern in the middle of the seat. Then, the graphics of the new driver instrumentation completes the design refinement in the interior.
Meanwhile, Bentley Rotating Display which has a 12.3-inch HD screen option, three analog dials, or a handmade Veneer side will be available as optional.
This luxury brand from England also offers audio options such as 10-speaker 650 Watts as standard, then 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen 1,500 W with speakers that can turn on, and a 19-speaker 2,200 W Naim with Active Bass Transducers attached to the front seat and eight sound modes.
The current generation is the most advanced Flying Spur ever by offering Wellness Seating as optional in all four chaires, including the Seat Auto Climate and Postural Adjust functions, which are useful for measuring and maintaining perfect body temperature through heating and ventilation.
Then, the display of the driver's instrument panel is also designed more sophisticated which can help the driver realize the conditions around the vehicle with a semi-assisted mode. The Intelligent Park Assist system is also presented with the presence of a regulated speed function.

Treating this car is a powertrain all-wheel drive Ultra Performance Hybrid which combines a 600 ps-powered 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine with a 190 ps electric motor combined with an eight-acceleration dual-clutch transmission.
In Sport mode, its internal power can produce 782 ps and 1,000 Nm torque which provides a typical instant torque for electric drive plus a V8 sound.
The torque is claimed to increase by 11 percent when compared to the previous version with the legendary W12 engine from 900 Nm to 1,000 Nm. Its power also increased by 19 percent from 659 ps to 782 ps, making the fourth generation Flying Spur one of the most powerful Bentley lines ever made.
Carrying the PHEV system, the latest Flying Spur has the ability to run with EV mode which provides a pure electric rate of 190 ps powered E-motors and a 450 Nm torque and a 25.9 kWh battery. This gives a cruising range of up to 76 km in one charge.
When the gasoline engine is coupled with an electric drive, Bentley claims this car has a combined range of up to 829 km in a state of gasoline tank and fully charged battery.
The delivery of this car will begin at the end of this year at a price that has not been announced. It is estimated that this luxury sedan will cost around 220,000 (IDR 4.459 billion).
