Jokowi From Office In IKN To Down, Kasetpres Heru Budi Remains In Jakarta

Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono admitted that he was still working in Jakarta and did not join President Joko Widodo to start based in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN)."No, I'm here (Jakarta)," Heru told reporters at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, September 11.Since the last two years, Heru has held two positions at once, namely the Presidential Decree and Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta. So, for the past two years, Heru has often pacing the Presidential Palace and DKI Jakarta City Hall to work.When Jokowi started his office at IKN, Heru admitted that he would occasionally leave Jakarta and fly to the new capital city of Indonesia."Yes, when certain times are needed, I will go there," he explained.President Joko Widodo is scheduled to have an office in IKN for approximately 40 days from September 11 to October 19, 2024, or until one day before the inauguration of the Elected President and Vice President.The President is also scheduled to hold a Plenary Cabinet Session at the IKN Presidential Palace, this week.
Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana said that the State Palace and Garuda Palace at IKN have been completed and are ready to be used by the President for various work routines.
