This Tesla Model Y Challenger Ordered 20 Thousand Units In A Week, What's Special?
JAKARTA Car manufacturer from China, Zeekr has just opened pre-sales for its newest SUV model, Zeekr 7X. The results are remarkable, just within a week of pre-sales starting, more than 20,000 orders have been received. This extraordinary acceptance shows consumer enthusiasm for this new model.
Reporting from Carnewschina, Monday, September 9, Zeekr's Head of Marketing, Guan Haidao, revealed that the Zeekr 7X could begin ordering at the Chengdu Motor Show 2024 exhibition, where the market response was very positive with the increasing number of orders.
Let's take a closer look at the specifications of this SUV. In terms of dimensions, Zeekr 7X has a length of 4,825 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, and a height of 1,666 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,925 mm. With a capacity of five passengers, the exterior design looks modern and dynamic, with typical curvatures reflecting today's Chinese car style.
In the cabin, Zeekr 7X offers a minimalist interior but remains luxurious. The presence of a 16-inch central instrument and touch screen with mini-LED technology and a resolution of up to 3.5K adds futuristic touch. The screen is equipped with physical control below and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips, providing smooth and responsive technological performance.

The Zeekr 7X builds on the PMA2+ platform, just like the Zeekr 007 sedan, with a sophisticated 800V electric architecture. The SUV offers two battery options to meet the needs of various users. The first version uses a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 74 kWh, allowing range of up to 605 km according to CLTC counts. While the second battery option is a Nickel manganesecobalt (NMC) based Qilin with a capacity of 100 kWh, offering a longer range of up to 780 km.
Well, interestingly Zeekr has also confirmed the acceleration of this SUV from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, even this is faster than the Porsche Cayman GT4
As a challenger to the Tesla Model Y, Zeekr 7X is priced starting at 239,900 yuan or around Rp521 million. While the highest variant has not been officially announced, it is estimated that the price will be below 300,000 yuan or around Rp651 million.
