Investigating Allegations Of PPE Corruption, KPK Garap Sesditjen Farmalkes Kemenkes Today
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled the examination of two witnesses related to allegations of corruption in the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). One of those summoned was the former Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Arianti Anaya.
"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses for alleged criminal acts related to the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE)," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Monday, September 9.
Tessa has not detailed the material for the summons. Apart from Arianti, investigators also summoned an accountant named Mikail Jam'an.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of MJ as an accountant and AA who is a former Sesditjen Farmalkes of the Indonesian Ministry of Health," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK named three suspects in the corruption case in the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). The investigation has been carried out since September 2023.
The amount of state losses in this case reached Rp300 billion with a project value of Rp3.03 trillion for the procurement of 5 million PPE packages.
A total of eight people have been prevented from leaving the country. They are Budi Badhi as the state civil apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Health, Hermansyah who is an ASN from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Satrio Wibowo and Ahmad Taufik as private sector, and A. Isdar Yusuf as advocates.
Furthermore, last June also prevented SLN, which is a doctor and two private parties, namely ET and AM.
