Pertamina And Vale Cooperate In Provision Of HVO
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga together with PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) have established a strategic partnership in providing environmentally friendly fuels.
President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan explained, the collaboration in the field of utilization of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) products, namely Pertamina Renewable Diesel, is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga's commitment to become an energy solution provider and the main partner in decarbonization in the industrial sector.
This collaboration was outlined through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Riva Siahaan and the President Director of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, Febriany Eddy in Bali on Monday, September 9.
Riva said that through the Pertamina One Solution service, Pertamina Patra Niaga provided integrated energy solutions designed to meet the needs of various business partners, including PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.
"This solution includes the provision of cleaner fuels as well as efficient logistical and infrastructure support, ensuring business operations run optimally and sustainably," he said, Monday, September 9.
In addition, Riva added that the strategic partnership between Pertamina Patra Niaga and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk is not only focused on providing clean energy products, but also on community empowerment programs.

"In addition to decarbonization, this partnership also aims to help strengthen the implementation of ESG and support PT Vale Indonesia Tbk in the scope of compliance with environmental regulations implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, including the rating assessment of Proper. This collaboration is in line with PT Vale Indonesia Tbk's efforts to increase environmental sustainability standards in their operations," he said.
President Director of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk Febriany Eddy revealed that this strategic collaboration is in line with the company's decarbonization roadmap.
