Sahroni Appointed As Head Of The DKI Jakarta Cagub Cawagub Winning Team Ridwan Kamil-Suswono
JAKARTA - NasDem Party politician Ahmad Sahroni was appointed to be the Chair of the Winning Team for the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, in Jakarta 2024.
The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that Ahmad Sahroni's appointment had been approved by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus. The pair was supported by 12 political parties during registration to the Jakarta KPU.
"The relationship between the KIM Plus Coalition Party has appointed Ahmad Sahroni to be the head of the RK-Siswono winning team in DKI Jakarta," Dasco told reporters in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Sunday, September 8.
Ridwan Kamil had previously said that the head of the winning team would soon be announced. Sahroni is also now a legislator who serves as Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI from the Electoral Region (dapil) DKI Jakarta III (North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands).
Previously, the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair registered to take part in the Jakarta Pilkada to the DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) Office, Wednesday, August 28.
They also stated that a couple named "Rido" stands for Ridwan Kamil-Suswono.
Ridwan explained that Riddo also meant by Allah SWT's pleasure as a good intention to build the nation if elected to lead Jakarta.

He hopes that their democracy and work will be able to support the progress of Indonesia, especially Jakarta. He is also more confident in being able to lead Jakarta because he has been accompanied by 12 of the 15 supporting parties.
The RK-Suswono pair advanced to the DKI Jakarta Pilkada with the support of a fat coalition of a number of political parties, namely the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, PAN, the Democratic Party, PSI, PKB, NasDem, PPP, and Perindro.
The couple also received support from non-parliamentary political parties, namely the Gelora Party, Garuda Party, Crescent Star Party, PRIMA, and the Nusantara Awakening Party.
