Tank Truck Hits Five Motorcycles Due To Blong Brakes

JAKARTA - The tank truck with the number B 9040 TMY had a series of accidents by hitting 5 motorbikes in front of it due to a failed brake on Jalan Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

According to information from Adit (33), the tanker truck driver, he did not know the cause of the failed brake. It's just that when it happened suddenly, he immediately directed the truck's steering wheel quickly to the right side of the road.

"I want to brake but I can't (don't) keep avoiding people in front and immediately swerve to the right, there are lots of motorbikes parked," Adit told reporters, Sunday, September 8.

According to Raka (31), one of the residents, when the truck headed to the right side of the road, hit five motorbikes until the motorbike was badly damaged.

Starting from damage to the front body, such as lights burst, the head shell of the motorbike was crushed, the body cracked, to the middle part similar to the seat that slipped from the seat. Not only that, the position of the truck also hit and passed the road divider.

Luckily, none of the fatalities were due to the successive accident.

"Five motorbikes were badly damaged by being hit by a truck," he said.

When the incident took place, the police then went to the location to check the identity of the driver and the victims. After that, the tank truck company and the victims agreed to peace after being mediated by the Duren Sawit Police.
