Elon Musk Confirms Tesla's FSD Launches In Right Steering Market At The End Of Quarter I-2025

JAKARTA - Tesla will introduce robotaxi at the Warner Bros. facility. Discovery near Los Angeles on October 10. Tesla CEO Elon Musk boasted that whoever doubts the quality of Tesla's Robotaxi should directly test this latest Full Self Driving (FSD) car.

Tesla has invested heavily in its AI program, as evidenced by the construction of a large supercomputer cluster consisting of 100,000 Nvidia H100/H200 GPUs in Texas Giga. The report also shows that Tesla will invest about $500 million in Dojo's supercomputer project in Buffalo, New York. Both supercomputer clusters are designed to improve and enhance Tesla's FSD and Autopilot programs.

Tesla's FSD driver assistance feature can navigate city streets and highways, as long as human drivers are ready to take over at any time. Musk claims FSD is safer than human drivers, and he has set Tesla's future in creating a robotic fleet, which carries driverless motorists.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, launching Teslarati, September 7, Elon Musk also gave an estimated time for the launch of FSD in the right steering market (RHD). According to Musk, Tesla plans to launch FSD on the RHD market at the end of the first quarter until the beginning of the second quarter of 2025, depending on the approval of the rules.

Musk announced this update as a complement to the latest FSD launch roadmap published by Tesla's AI team. According to the launch roadmap, Tesla wants to bring FSD to Europe and China by early 2025, depending on regulatory approval. Given Musk's comments, it appears that FSD will be released in advance for the left steering market (LHD) when this advanced driver assistance system arrives in Europe.

The FSD launch to the RHD market will bring this advanced driver assistance system to more drivers, especially Tesla owners in the UK and Ireland in Europe, as well as countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In this way, Tesla's FSD launch to the RHD market is likely to be an important step towards the global launch of this advanced driver assistance system.

FSD is expected to experience a number of significant improvements before its expected launch in China, Europe, and the RHD market. As seen in Tesla's AI team launch roadmap, the company plans to release an integrated model of FSD v12.5.2 for AI3 and AI4 vehicles this month, before releasing FSD V13 in October. FSD V13 is expected to have a 6x increase in distance before it requires intervention.
