Police Call Fugitive Alice Guo Entering Indonesia Legally
The National Police stated that Alice Guo alias Guo Huang Ping, who is a fugitive from the Philippine authorities, entered Indonesia legally.
The Head of the International Relations Division (Hubinter) of the National Police, Inspector General Krishna Murti, said that from the results of the investigation, there were no immigration violations committed by Alice.
"No immigration violations have been legally entered," Krishna said when confirmed, Friday, September 6.
However, it was not conveyed in detail how Alice Guo entered Indonesia. Krishna only stated that the arrival process of the former Mayor of Bamban was legal.
On the other hand, it is only known that the fugitive from the Philippine authorities was in several cities such as Batam, Jakarta, Bandung, until he was finally arrested in Tangerang.
"Legal (Alice Guo's arrival to Indonesia)," said Krishna.

Alice Guo was arrested in Tangerang on September 3. He became a fugitive in the alleged money laundering case. In addition, Alice Guo is also accused of having ties to a Chinese criminal syndicate.
Currently, Alice Guo has been handed over to the Philippine authorities to be repatriated to her home country under a deportation scheme.
