KITB Together With Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia And HOKA Galakan Action Cleaning Up Jodo Beach
JAKARTA - Carrying the theme "Small Actions, Big Impact", PT Batang Integrated Industrial Estate (KITB) together with tenant Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia andmen's HOKA held a clean-up activity at Jodo Beach. This activity aims to educate the public that simple actions in protecting the environment can have a big impact on nature's sustainability. Located on the coast not far from the region, this social action is a clear proof of how small collaborations can create significant changes.
In this activity, KITB and its tenants focus on efforts to maintain coastal cleanliness and raise awareness about the importance of good waste management. This activity involved dozens of employees from PT Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia andmen's HOKA, as well as local people who participated with enthusiasm. Support also came from the village and sub-district governments who welcomed this initiative as an initial step towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
Liwail Chamdy, Head of the Department of Corporate Communication, CSR, and Community Development KITB, said that this action was a small step with a big impact on the sustainability of the surrounding environment.
"We believe that simple actions such as beach cleaning can create extraordinary domino effects. With the theme 'Small Actions, Big Impact', we want to inspire people and other companies to participate in protecting the environment. This activity is not only about today, but about a greener and more sustainable future," said Tanya.
In this clean-up action, the participants collected plastic waste scattered along the coast of Jodo Beach, while educating the public about environmentally friendly waste management. This action received a warm welcome from the local community, who were happy to be able to take part in maintaining the cleanliness of the beach which is one of the local prides.
This activity is not only limited to physical efforts to clean the environment, but also involves education about the importance of sorting waste and reducing the use of single-use plastics. "With a small action like this, we hope to have a big impact on environmental sustainability around industrial estates and motivate others to do the same," Tanya added.
