Mass Agung At GBK Thursday Afternoon, 46 Schools In Central Jakarta Study At Home
The Central Jakarta City Government has implemented Distance Learning (PJJ) or learning from home to support the smooth visit of the Supreme Leader of the World Catholic Church and the Head of State of the Vatican, Pope Francis in Indonesia, Thursday, September 5 afternoon.
"Today, schools in Central Jakarta study from home, some schools study at home, only those that are passed by the Pope Francis group route and also routes that are used as alternatives," said Head of Region II Education Sub-Department (Sudin) Bambang Eko Prabowo, Thursday, September 5.
Bambang said that a total of 46 schools in Central Jakarta enforced learning from home as part of their support for the Acting (Pj) policy. DKI Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono.
The total 46 schools are 10 schools in the Gambir area, 14 schools in Menteng, 11 schools in Tanah Abang, and 11 schools in Sawah Besar.
"The Education Office has taken steps by issuing a circular letter (SE) of the Head of the Office Number 24/SE/2024 regarding calls for work and learning from home. So we have coordinated with schools to prepare for this WFH," said Bambang.
Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government issued a circular for all students and state civil servants to study and work from home (WFH) during the grand Mass of Pope Francis at Gelora Bung Karno on September 5, 2024.
Acting Head (Plt) Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office Budi Awaluddin in a statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/9) night stated that this circular was issued to anticipate traffic congestion on that date.
"The Education Office has taken steps by issuing a circular letter (SE) of the Head of Service Number 24/SE/2024 concerning WFH and learning from home," Budi said last Wednesday.
The letter is intended for all ASN and students in the education unit as many as 205 schools in the Central Jakarta and South Jakarta areas.
