Arteria Dahlan Claims The Special Committee For The DPR's Angket Find Many Legal Facts On The Deviation Of The 2024 Hajj
Member of the Special Committee (Pansus) for the 2024 Hajj Implementation of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Arteria Dahlan, said that his party had found many legal facts related to irregularities in the 2024 Hajj which were allegedly carried out by the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag)."This DPR has found many legal facts, many findings of irregularities," Arteria told reporters after attending a surprise inspection (sidak) conducted by the Hajj Question Committee at the Integrated Hajj Information and Computerization System Office (Siskohat), Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, September 4.However, he admitted that he regretted that the Ministry of Religion did not fulfill the request for clarification from the Hajj Anggat Special Committee regarding legal facts that Arteria did not explain in detail."The DPR (can) just walk alone with the available evidence, we can find legal facts about irregularities, but we are still kind. We call all parties, listen to information, both parties including the Ministry of Religion. We regret it, it turns out that the Ministry of Religion does not want to take the opportunity given to clarify," he explained.Therefore, said Arteria continued, the Ministry of Religion will not blame the Hajj Anggat Special Committee on the recommendations to be given, which have the potential to harm the Ministry of Religion.Previously on the same occasion, Saleh Partaonan Daulay had said that the Hajj Anggat Special Committee hoped that the Ministry of Religion officials would fulfill the summons from the Special Committee to attend the meeting and provide testimony as witnesses."We hope that Ministry of Religion officials will come when summoned," said Saleh.Meanwhile, according to other members of the Hajj Angket Special Committee, namely Marwan Jafar, the absence from the Ministry of Religion hampered the work of the Special Committee in investigating several issues in the implementation of the 2024 Hajj, such as the allocation of additional Hajj quotas that contradicted the provisions of Article 64 of Law Number 8 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Hajj and Umrah."So it hinders the Special Committee and also the Ministry of Religion, its officials deliberately avoid it and do not want to come to the Special Committee because there are indeed many frauds that have been committed by the Ministry of Religion," said Marwan.
Next, Saleh said that the absence of the Ministry of Religion was something that prompted the Special Committee to carry out inspections, as was done at Siskohat.
