Not Yet Decided To Support Pramono-Rano In The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Foke: See What The Program Supports
JAKARTA - Former Governor of DKI Jakarta Fauzi Bowo admitted that he had not decided to support the pair Pramono Anung and Rano Karno in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.
Foke admitted that he would still pay close attention to the vision and mission and ideas of the candidates in the Jakarta Pilkada. This was revealed by Foke after a meeting with Pramono-Rano at the MH Thamrin Museum this afternoon.
"That's us, I haven't seen what the program looks like either. So, we'll see we'll wait," said Foke at the MH Thamrin Museum, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, August 3.
Pramono-Rano started working with the former governor of Jakarta before being officially appointed as a candidate pair in the 2024 Pilkada.
Foke appreciated the move. During the meeting, Foke explained various policies he had implemented during his tenure as Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta for the period 2002-2007 and the Governor of DKI Jakarta for the period 2007-2012.
"I have an obligation to provide as much information as possible what I know to him so that he has quite a lot of provisions. What is clear, it must be better than before," explained Foke.
Foke gave a special message to Pramono-Rano if he won the Jakarta Pilkada later. Pramono-Rano revealed that they would maintain the continuity of Jakarta's development from previous governors.
From there, Foke asked both of them to carefully study Jakarta's problems before issuing a policy.

"Before we start something, there is a prologue, please study it first. So, we understand what the problem is and then how do we continue," explained the former DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary.
However, that does not mean that the program that has been running in Jakarta always has to be continued. The DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary in 1998-2002 asked Pramono-Rano not to continue programs that were deemed useless to the community.
"The bad need not be continued, but the good, I think it is our responsibility together, as well as the community, to support," he said.
