National Police Chief Inaugurates Brigadier General Patrige Renwarin As Papuan Police Chief
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially inaugurated Brigadier General Patrige Renwarin as Papua Police Chief replacing Komjen Mathius D Fakhri.It is known that Komjen Mathius D Fakhri has submitted his resignation as a member of the National Police because he will participate in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation."Today, the National Police Chief has handed over the position of Papua Police Chief from Komjen Pol Mathius D Fakhri to Brigadier General Pol Patrige Renwarin," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyuso Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Tuesday, September 3.This inauguration was after the National Police Chief issued a Telegram Letter regarding the transfer of Polri's registered position with number ST/1845/VIII/KEP./2024, dated August 28, 2024In the Telegram Letter, Komjen Mathius D Fakhri was transferred as the main policy analyst in the field of the Police Mobile Brigade.Then, the position of Deputy Chief of Papua Police, previously held by Brigadier General Patrige R Renwarin, was filled by Brigadier General Faizal Ramdani, who was previously the Head of the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force.
Previously, Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources (HR) Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo stated that Komjen Matthew D Fakhiri had submitted a letter of resignation as a member of the National Police."Including the Papua Police Chief (Komjen Mathius D Fakhiri submitted a letter of resignation)," said Dedi.
