Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Tariffs Will Rise, Here Are The Details Of The Price

PT Bintaro Serpong Damai as the manager and operator of the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road (BSD Toll Road) which connects South Tangerang with Jakarta, will in the near future impose an adjustment or tariff increase.

The increase was based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number: 2149/KPTS/M/2024 concerning toll tariff adjustments on the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road.

"We have carried out various developments to continue to provide the best service for road users through improving road quality by maintaining the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) and periodic beautification carried out," said PT Bintaro Serpong Damai President Director Ricky Cameleen in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, September 3.

The application of this tariff will take effect at eight (8) toll gates, namely, Pondok Ranji Utama Toll Gate towards Jakarta, Pondok Ranji Utama towards Serpong, Pondok Aren 1, Pondok Aren 2, Serpong 2, Serpong 3, Serpong 6 and Serpong 7.

As one of the strategic toll roads to support mobility and access to the activities of South Tangerang residents to Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang Raya, Jakarta, Bogor, Serang and Cikampek.

PT Bintaro Serpong Damai has also completed the construction of three toll road areas additional projects such as construction for flood management at KM 8, construction for handling weaving (crossings) at KM 10 and widening of the exit Pamulang (widening) ROWS 30 arterial road.

PT Bintaro Serpong Damai last implemented tariff adjustments in 2019. The evaluation and adjustment of toll rates is carried out every two years, this is done to support operational activities such as maintenance, repair, infrastructure improvement to ensure the safety, safety, and comfort of toll road users and maintain optimal service quality.

The implementation of this tariff adjustment has also been regulated in the Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) between the Government and Investors which is expected with certainty that this investment can attract investors to develop toll road infrastructure.

The latest tariff on the Pondok Aren - Serpong toll road is:

Toll tariff adjustments have been regulated in Article 48 paragraph (4) letters b and c of Law Number 38 of 2004 concerning Roads as amended in recent times with Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 38 of 2024 concerning Roads and Article 84 paragraph (1) Government Regulation Number 23 of 2024 concerning Toll Roads which states that in addition to evaluation and adjustment of toll rates carried out every 2 (two) years, evaluation and adjustments can be made in the event that there is an additional scope outside the business plan that affects the feasibility of toll road investments and there is a central government policy that affects the feasibility of Toll Road Investments and there is a Central Government policy that affects the feasibility of Toll Road Investment.
