DPR Supports Pertamina To Expand Pertalite QR Code Registration
JAKARTA - Member of Commission VII DPR RI Mukhtarudin supports PT Pertamina (Persero) through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga which expanded the registration of QR Code for Pertalite after previously successfully completing the registration of a subsidized QR Code of fuel oil (BBM) type Biosolar.
"The Pertamina Patra Niaga step is to apply the QR Code registration so that the subsidies on target should be appreciated. This is necessary so that the distribution of Pertalite and Biosolar can be enjoyed by those who are entitled," said Mukhtarudin in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, September 3.
People who register for the Proper Subsidy Program will get a QR Code, he continued, so that it can be known in detail who and what vehicle bought Pertalite because later it is mandatory to show a QR Code.
This user data will be very useful for government policies in regulating vehicles that are entitled to subsidized fuel.
"With this data collection, of course, it can be clearly known who the users of Subsidized Fuel are, so they can minimize fraud or the intention of abusing subsidized fuel. Therefore, having a QR Code should be mandatory," he said.
Therefore, he asked Pertamina Patra Niaga to encourage people who use four-wheeled vehicles to immediately register the Pertalite QR Code. In addition, registration for the Proper Subsidy Program also needs to expand the coverage of its territory, especially in Java, Madura, and Bali (Jamali), which consumes the highest subsidized fuel.

"If necessary, the public is required to show a QR Code when buying Pertalite, as is the purchase of Biosolar and even LPG 3kg which must bring an ID / NIK," said Mukhtarudin.
Previously, the registration for the MyPertamina Proper Subsidy Program had been carried out in phase 1, namely Java, Madura, and Bali (JAMALI), Riau Islands, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Gorontalo, North Maluku, Maluku, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
The initial pilot projects include the provinces of Aceh, Bangka Belitung, Bengkulu and Timika Regency. Meanwhile, the rest of the area will be the implementation of the 2nd phase.
