Two PTPP Garapan Hospital Projects Were Inaugurated By The President

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) as one of the Construction and Investment SOEs in Indonesia inaugurated the Dr Hasan Sadikin Mother and Child Health Care Center (MCC) Project located in Bandung City, West Java Province, on Thursday 29 August and the Dharmais Woman and Child Cancer Care Building Cancer Hospital Project in West Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta Province, on Friday 30 August.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated directly with the signing of the pasasti as a symbolic form. Also attending the inauguration ceremony of the MCHC Hospital Dr Hasan Sadikin namely Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin, Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono, President Director of RSHS Rachim Dinata Marsidi, and President Director of PTPP Novel Arsyad.

The inauguration ceremony of the Dharmais Cancer Hospital was also present to accompany the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, President of Islamic Development Bank, HE Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, Director of Dharmais Soeko Hospital Werdi Nindito, and President Director of PTPP Novel Arsyad and his staff.

The construction of these two hospital projects is not only a construction project but is a big step in an effort to improve the quality of Health, especially Mothers and Children, as well as improve comprehensive and modern health services in West Java Province and DKI Jakarta Province.

The construction of the MCHC Hospital Project, Dr Hasan Sadikin, has a contract value of IDR 383.1 billion with a proportion of PTPP, which is 55 percent, and has a funding source from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). This eight-story hospital has a building area of 35,183M2 with 490 beds and intensive care unit (ICU) facilities which are expected to be used as a reference for standard maternal and child health services.

The Dharmais Cancer Hospital project is a project carried out by PTPP which has a building area of 35,680M2, with a height of 18 Floors and 3 Basements. The contract value of the Dharmais Cancer Hospital Project is IDR 474.3 billion with a funding source from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).

This project received the World of Indonesia (MURI) Record Museum Award Charter for the record Construction of Hospitals with the deepest Bunker Badminton in Indonesia, has a concrete wall thickness of 1.5 3.5 meters with a special density of 2,350 Kg/m3 and is able to withstand radiation with a maximum energy of 10 MV FFF.

At the inauguration of the two hospital projects, President Joko Widodo appreciated the quality of the building and was considered the equivalent of a five-bit hotel.

"I went into the Dharmais Hospital building, I felt like I entered a five-star hotel, the building was neat, the design was good, the lights were bright," said the President.

On this occasion, the President emphasized the importance of competition with other countries in the field of Health. He hopes that with the improvement of facilities and hospital buildings in Indonesia, people will no longer need to go abroad to get quality health services.

"And yesterday I was also surprised, I also came to inaugurate the construction of a hospital at Sardjito Hospital, in the morning, in the afternoon at Hasan Sadikin Hospital which is also the eighth floor building, everything is like entering a five-star hotel," said Indonesian President Joko Widodo in his remarks.

PTPP President Director Novel Arsyad is very satisfied with the results of the construction of the MCHC Dr Hasan Sadikin Hospital and the Dharmais Cancer Hospital Project.

"PTPP is proud to have completed national hospital projects in West Java Province and DKI Jakarta Province. With the innovation carried out by the Company, it is proven that the quality, zero accidents, and MURI record awards are obtained," said Novel.

The construction of these two hospitals will be a good example for the construction of hospital projects both with national and international standards that are entrusted to the Company in the future.

"The completion of this project will add a portfolio of PTPP in building buildings, especially hospital clusters, and in line with the government in increasing competitiveness in health services for the Indonesian people," concluded Novel.
