The Fuss Of TransJakarta Drivers With AGI Bank Security Ends Peacefully At The Matraman Police
JAKARTA - The Matraman Police have resolved a threatening case involving a TransJakarta bus driver and security Bank Artha Graha Internasional (AGI) through a restorative justice process. The incident, which had gone viral on social media, occurred on Jalan Matraman Raya, Kebon Manggis, East Jakarta, on Friday, August 30.
Raditya S. Pramudipta, a TransJakarta driver who became a victim, previously posted this incident on his TikTok account, @raditya.spd_. In his post, Raditya revealed that he felt threatened by the security of Bank AGI. However, through mediation at the Matraman Police, Raditya agreed to make peace with Bawahi Hanafrianto, the security guard of Bank AGI involved in the incident.
"On Friday, August 30, 2024, both parties agreed to resolve this issue amicably and would not prosecute each other legally," said Matraman Police Chief, Kompol Suprasetyo.
Kompol Suprasetyo explained that after mediation was carried out, the two sides would forgive each other and appreciate the restorative justice steps taken by the Matraman Police.
"They express their gratitude and appreciation to the Matraman Police," he added.
From the results of the investigation, this incident occurred on Wednesday, August 28 at around 23.00 WIB. At that time, the TransJakarta bus driver parked his vehicle in front of the Bank AGI building. Bawahi Hanafrianto, who was on guard, then reprimanded Raditya while carrying a Valtro 12 GA softgun, which is an office inventory.

According to Bawahi and other witnesses, carrying weapons while on duty is part of the bank's standard operating procedure (SOP). However, in this incident, there was no direct threat or detention of firearms against Raditya. Raditya's feelings of danger are most likely caused by Burihi's way of reprimanding him while carrying a weapon.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Matraman Police, AKP Moch. Zen, stated that the police immediately conducted an investigation after learning the viral video on TikTok. The Matraman Police Buser team visited the scene, analyzed CCTV footage, and collected witness statements.
In mediation, Bawahi admitted that his act of carrying a gun when reprimanding a TransJakarta bus driver could cause a misunderstanding. He also apologized and promised not to repeat his actions in the future.
Meanwhile, Raditya also admitted that there was no direct threat to him. However, Bawahi's way of reprimanding him by carrying a firearm made him feel threatened.
"This problem has been resolved by deliberation," said AKP Moch. Zen.
Raditya has also sent a letter to the editor of VOI stating that a misunderstanding with the security of Bank AGI has been resolved amicably at the Matraman Police. He also said that he had deleted TikTok's post regarding the incident on his own initiative.
"With this settlement, my posts on my TikTok account have been deleted without coercion from any party," Raditya explained in his letter.
