Trump: 2024 US Presidential Election Between Communism And Freedom
JAKARTA - Former US President Donald Trump said the 2024 presidential election on November 5 would be an option between communism and freedom.
The Republican candidate delivered his statement during a speech in Michigan.
In the contested state, rival Vice President Kamala Harris has received support since he was officially appointed as a presidential candidate from the Democratic party.
In his speech, Trump claimed Harris was a Marxist adherent and accused Harris of being "radical" for promising to control the price of "count style" as well as taxpayer-funded free health services.
"This election is not an option between the Democrats and the Republic. This is an option between communism and freedom. That is the point," Trump said as quoted by ANTARA from Anadolu, Friday, August 30.
Trump said he was in Michigan with a simple message to American automotive workers and American workers.
"Your long economic nightmare is coming to an end... Change it with your voice. We will beat Kamala Harris's camera, and we will return America's dream -- bigger, better, stronger, just better," he said.
Trump also accused President Joe Biden and Harris of causing the worst inflation in American history.
"Workers like you and the community like this should be able to buy a nice house, a new car, and a developing family with a single source of income, while enjoying the highest standard of living on earth," he said.

Trump also commented on Harris who promised to fight for "strong border security".
"Now he says 'we want to build a strong border.' Where has he been for three and a half years, when we receive 20 million people, most of whom are terrible criminals?"
"We will make America the capital of production, the world's manufacturing capital, and that will happen very quickly," Trump promised voters.
