Jasa Raharja Substitutes Six Victims Of The Palembang-Kayuagung Toll Accident

PT Jasa Raharja South Sumatra handed over compensation to four victims who died and two victims were injured in an accident that occurred on the Palembang-Kayu Agung KM 353 lane B toll road in the Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra.

"Jasa Raharja South Sumatra Branch has handed over compensation on behalf of Aurelia Agustin (2) and Anya Rizqiana, each of whom received a guarantee of Rp. 50 million and we conveyed to the victim's heirs, namely the victim's parents on behalf of Andra Sugara who were handed over through a transfer mechanism," said Head of Palembang Branch PT Jasa Raharja Mulkan as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 30.

Meanwhile, two other victims who died, namely on behalf of Rengga and his son named Azlan (5), the handover of the right to compensation was delegated to Jasa Raharja, Sukabumi Representative, West Java.

In accordance with the domicile of the heirs, those who live in Sukabumi are handed over compensation to the Jasa Raharja representative office in Sukabumi. Compensation has also been paid on the same day on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, where the amount of compensation is based on the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number: KEP 16 / PMK.010 / 2017 dated February 13, 2017.

"We have provided maximum health insurance for the injured victims, with a maximum of 20 million, which we are also working with the hospital," he said.

This is as stated in Law no. 33 and 34 of 1964 concerning Mandatory Due Funds for Public Passenger Accidents and Road Traffic, which are none other than a form of state presence providing basic protection for traffic accident victims.
