Jokowi Responds To The Issue Of Himself Being A Member Of Golkar: He Said He Was A Chairman, Said He Became A Board Of Trustees?

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo responded to an issue that said he would be appointed as a member or part of the Golkar Party, after Bahlil Lahadalia became General Chair of Golkar.

"Well, he said to be the chairman (general)? He said he was the supervisory board, aah," Jokowi joked briefly after inaugurating the Mother and Child Health Respiratory Building of the Friendship Hospital in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 30.

The President smiled when he said this as if he was teasing the reporters who were asking questions.

Previously, President Joko Widodo was said to be the General Chair of the Golkar Party. He was also said to be appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Golkar Party. However, that issue did not come true.

In the Golkar National Conference some time ago, there was no appointment or appointment of the President to be part of the Golkar Party.
