Teenager Cable Thief In Cipayung Also Takes 10 Sets Of Scaffolding, Thrown Into The Blank Land
The Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating the perpetrators of the theft who were arrested by residents on Jalan Raya at Hankam Headquarters, RT 01/03, Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.
The suspect is known to have the initials MRW (22) a resident of Jatimakmur Village, Pondok Gede District, Bekasi, West Java. He is still undergoing examination and development.
"Evidence confiscated 4 meters of electric cables, 6 metals of iron behel, 6 iron trellis, 6 iron behel metals, 22 iron iron, 10 iron behel metals and 10 sets of iron scaffolding," said Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Hotman Capandi when confirmed by VOI, Friday, August 30.
Apart from the evidence, investigators also examined two witnesses related to the incident. From the testimony of the witnesses, it was discovered that the incident when the suspect MRW was caught moving iron and other items from the warehouse of PT Tirta Dhea Adonic Pratama to the outside.
"The suspect's mode of throwing it on the vacant land behind the warehouse," he said.
The witness then reprimanded the perpetrator and reported it to the PT office. The perpetrators were also arrested by residents.
"The reporter is in the name of Heni Handayani, who is an employee of PT," he said.
As a result of his actions, the suspect MRW was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with 53 of the Criminal Code regarding the crime of theft by weight.
