Cable Thief Was Arrested But Asked For Peace, Caught Second Time Not Being Forgiven

JAKARTA - A young man who stole cables and iron was surrounded by residents on Jalan Raya at Hankam Headquarters, Setu, Cipayung District, East Jakarta.

The young man who often carried out the theft was again caught and arrested while stealing iron and cables. The perpetrators are also the month of the masses who are furious at his actions.

When caught, it was discovered that the perpetrator carried out the action alone on foot. Although he had fled, he was caught by the residents.

According to Leo, one of the eyewitnesses to the incident, the perpetrators had often stolen cables and iron in several locations.

"The cable and iron were taken. He admitted himself, walked, it looks like people from this area as well," Leo told reporters, Friday, August 30.

Leo explained that the perpetrator had previously been arrested for committing similar theft. But previously, the perpetrator was mediated amicably because the victim and the parents of the perpetrator knew each other.

"In the past, the perpetrators had been arrested, now they are acting up again. Earlier they were attacked by residents. Then they were taken to the Cipayung Police," he said.

For the purposes of further investigation, the case is still being handled by the Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, AKP Hotman Capandi, confirmed the incident. Currently still under investigation.

"Not (the theft of iron) but aluminum frames. I'll check it first," he said when confirmed, Friday, August 30.
