Vice President Asks For Optimized Research And Innovation Development
JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin requested that educational facilities in the country be optimized in supporting research and innovation development.
This was conveyed by the Vice President in his remarks during the inauguration of the Indonesian Television Academic Campus-Institute Digital Emtek (ATVI-IMDE) in Jakarta, Thursday, August 29.
"First, optimize this new building as a center for research and innovation development in the media industry and broadcasting which is more advanced and wider," he said as quoted by ANTARA.
Because, said the Vice President, the development of science and research in the field of broadcasting and journalism needs to be encouraged so that knowledge continues to develop, not only concentrated on applied science.
"Second, maintain the nation's culture and ethics in dealing with the development of the media industry," said the Vice President.
He emphasized that the younger generation needs to be equipped not only with the foundations of expertise and media skills, but also strong moral values in accordance with the nation's culture and ethics.
No less important, according to the Vice President, in an effort to carry out maximum education, especially in facing the current global challenges, is to increase cooperation with various stakeholders.
"Third, increase cooperation and collaboration, both with campuses at home and abroad to expand the network and enrich global market insight," he said.
