Turkish Military Drone Shot Down In Kirkuk Iraq, Triggers Fires A Number Of Houses

JAKARTA - Iraqi air defenses shot down a drone / drone in the northern city of Kirkuk. An investigation into the drone is underway.

Reuters quoted information from an Iraqi military colonel who said an initial investigation into the debris showed the military drone belonged to Turkey.

The drone crashed at the center of Kirkuk, Thursday, August 29, sparking a fire near several homes, but causing no casualties.

There was no immediate response from Turkish authorities regarding this incident.
