Wika Beton Collects New Contracts Of IDR 3.36 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WTON) reported that until June 2024 it had succeeded in obtaining a new contract of IDR 3.7 trillion.

WTON Corporate Secretary, Dedi Indra said the project was dominated by projects in the infrastructure sector by 77.19 percent, followed by projects in the industrial sector at 9.44 percent, then electricity at 6.45 percent, and the rest coming from the property, energy and mining sectors, each contributing 6.37 percent, 0.54 percent, and 0.01 percent.

Meanwhile, based on the ownership segmentation, this figure was dominated by private customers by 78.56 percent, followed by other state-owned companies of Rp 18.31 percent, parent company WIKA at 2.46 percent, affiliated with WIKA at 0.17 percent, and the government at 0.50 percent.

"So it can be concluded that our dependence on holding is very small," he said in a public expose live, Thursday, August 29.

Dedi detailed that a number of large projects that supported this figure were MRT Jakarta CP205 Trackwork, Jakarta Phase 1B LRT Trackwork, South Japek II Toll Road Package 2A, NCICD DKI Jakarta Location 1 Package 1, Serang Panimbang Toll Road Section III, Karanganongko Dam Project, Kudus Drain Flood Control Phase 1, Data Design Center Bromo TDI Kabil Batam, Microsoft Data Center JKT09 Mainbuilding, FRC IK Karawang Pindo Deli 2 Phase 3, Procurement Fasad ASN 3 IKN Flats, and various other projects.

During the first semester of 2024, WTON also managed to pocket revenue of IDR 2.19 trillion with a net profit of IDR 16 billion or a growth of IDR 45.4 percent compared to the net profit of the same quarter in 2023.

"WTON is optimistic that it can achieve positive performance until the end of 2024 while still paying attention to environmental, social and governance aspects," concluded Dedi.
