DTP VAT Incentive Extended, BSD Hopes Sales Increase By 20 Percent
JAKARTA - The government has again extended the provision of government-borne value added tax incentives (PPN DTP) by 100 percent until the end of December 2024. The Sinar Mas Land Group property issuer, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) welcomed the policy.
Director of BSDE Hermawan Wijaya said that his party would still wait for the policy to be more complete. However, basically the DTP VAT discount will increase the enthusiasm for buying houses and apartments until the end of 2024.
"Yes, we are very grateful to the government for extending the DTP VAT period which is 100 percent subsidy until December 2024," Hermawan said in a public expose for BSDE on Wednesday, August 28.
Hermawan added that with this policy, his party would maximize this to increase sales.
In addition, Hermawan said that the policy would have a positive impact on the property business in general, because property buyers in general would get incentives again until December 2024.

Meanwhile, BSDE Corporate Secretary Ricardo Arief Dharmawan conveyed that the DTP VAT incentive policy of 100 percent hopes to contribute to sales categorized as VAT DTP in BSDE reaching 15 to 20 percent of marketing sales.
