JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) plans to distribute dividends for the 2024 financial year in 2025, with a payout ratio of 20 to 25 percent of this year's net profit to shareholders.

President Director of BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu explained that the provision of dividends for the 2024 financial year is based on the consideration of the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of the bank.

"We will increase it with the government. But I'll just give myself 20 to 25 percent of the guidance," he said in a virtual press conference, Wednesday, August 28.

However, Nixon said that if the company needed more capital for credit expansion or other reasons, usually the average dividend payout ratio is at the level of 20 percent.
