So The Ministry With The Largest PNBP, Bahlil Was Shocked That The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources' Budget Was Only This!
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia was surprised by the budget amount of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, especially for RKA/KL in 2025 which was only Rp9.38 trillion.
"The money is also small, even though the work is big. Sorry sir (Commission VII DPR) I read, if the Ministry of Investment is small, it makes sense, but if the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources which produces PNBP outside the upstream oil and gas of more than Rp170 trillion, this is not up to 10 percent., ideally, the cost is at least 20 percent of the total PNBP, but this is not an economic theory from where this comes from," said Bahlil while attending a Working Meeting with Commission VI DPR RI, Tuesday, August 27.
Bahlil was also surprised by the small budget specifically for the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation in the 2025 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) plan which amounted to only Rp657 billion.
In fact, he said, Indonesia is heading for an energy transition to realize net zero emissions (NZE) by 2060.
"The Directorate General of EBTKE is IDR 657 billion. Ma'am, the mother's budget is very small, even though we plan to transition energy," Bahlil told the Director General of EBTKE, Eniya Listiani Dewi, who was also present on the same occasion.
Bahlil assessed that the small budget for EBTKE could not reflect the spirit of the Republic of Indonesia in implementing the energy transition.
"This is if the Papuans say, write another, make another, have other exercises, play other things like this. How can we talk about the energy transition this small?" continued Bahlil.
For information, the budget for KESDM in 2025 is IDR 9.38 trillion with the largest portion held by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas of IDR 4.84 trillion.
