Anies Has Not Been Promoted By PDIP, Labor Party: We Wait Until August 29

JAKARTA - The Labor Party responded to Anies Baswedan, who yesterday had not announced PDIP to be promoted as a candidate for governor in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. The Labor Party stated that it would wait for developments until August 29. "We are waiting for developments until August 29. Djarot confirmed that Anies had been present at the PDIP DPP office a few hours before the announcement of the third wave of Cakada. Anies, he said, had met Rano Karno who was previously said to be running as a cawagub.

However, the former governor of Jakarta did not want to speak firmly about Anies' opportunity to be promoted by PDIP.
