Telkom Indonesia Opens Opportunities To Distribute Dividends Of Up To 80 Percent Of 2024 Profit
JAKARTA - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (TLKM) has an opportunity to distribute dividends next year of up to 80 percent of 2024 profits.
"For dividends, we are around 70 percent to 80 percent of the net profit (this year)," said Telkom Indonesia Finance Director Heri Supriadi at the 2024 Live Public Expose (Pubex) Parade, Monday, August 26.
Heri said that his party is focusing on maintaining an increase in dividends per share (DPS) while still paying attention to the company's expansion and investment needs.
"We will balance dividends per share with Telkom's expansion and investment needs, company performance, market conditions, and the aspirations of shareholders," he said.
Heri said the company has a view to always want to provide the best value and return to all stakeholders and shareholders.
For information, during the first semester of 2024, Telkom Indonesia and its subsidiaries recorded a net profit of IDR 11.76 trillion. This figure is down 7.76 percent on an annual basis or early on year (yoy) compared to last year's IDR 12.75 trillion.
Meanwhile, TLKM's revenue recorded a slight increase of 2.47 percent (yoy) to Rp75.29 trillion compared to the previous year which amounted to Rp73.47 trillion.
Meanwhile, Telkom Indonesia's revenue comes from data, internet, and information technology services of IDR 38.41 trillion and Indihome's revenue was recorded at IDR 12.97 trillion.
Selain itu, Telkom Indonesia juga mencatatkan kenaikan sejumlah biaya dan beban di antaranya yaitu beban operasi pemeliharaan dan jasa telekomunikasi naik menjadi Rp19,46 triliun dari tahun sebelumnya Rp19,17 triliun, biaya penyusutan dan amortisasi naik menjadi Rp16,12 triliun dari sebelumnya Rp15,94 triliun, beban karyawan menjadi Rp9,48 triliun dari Rp7,84 triliun.

Furthermore, the interconnection burden rose to Rp3.54 trillion from the previous Rp3.09 trillion, and general and administrative expenses to Rp3.35 trillion from the previous Rp3.33 trillion, the marketing expenses recorded a decrease to Rp1.57 trillion from the previous year's Rp1.65 trillion.
Then, Telkom Indonesia also recorded losses that had not been realized from changes in the fair value of the investment amounting to Rp857 billion, reversing from the profit a year earlier, which was Rp412 billion.
Meanwhile, operating profit fell 6.01 percent (yoy) to IDR 21.63 trillion in the first semester of 2024. And, the total assets decreased to IDR 285.99 trillion in June 2024, compared to IDR 287.04 trillion at the end of December 2023.
