Celebrate 10 Years Of His Presence In Korea, Porsche Launches Taycan This Special Edition

JAKARTA - Porsche celebrated its presence in South Korea for 10 years by launching the limited edition Taycan Turbo K-Edition model. The exterior and interior of this car is decorated with elements inspired by ginseng country culture.

Porsche Korea CEO Holger Gerrmann said the car was the result of a Porsche Korea collaboration with Style Porsche's department and expert hands from the Sonderwmen program.

"At the same time, some exterior and interior details highlight, for example, extensive and high-quality adjustments that can be made through the Sonderw program," Holger said on the brand's official website, Saturday, August 24.

Sonderw experts at Porsche Exlusive Manufacturing have combined the influence of Korean traditional culture with modern splendor and made Taycan Turbo K-Edition a luxury sports car.

The car features the historical stamps of the Korean Kingdom and special horizon graphics incorporating the characteristics of the country's cities, buildings and landscapes.

These two design elements can be found on the interior and exterior of the car. The interior highlights also include the design of a three-color middle panel and complicated hand-made cross-thiking.

The manufacturer also wrote the name Taycan' in traditional Korean characters. Style Porsche designers have also integrated the horse racing arena into the abstract representation of the logo. Specialists in the Sonderwmen's team painted this logo with a glossy black color on the charging port door on the driver's side. It was also broken through the armship of the chair's head and on the key hanger of the skin.

The car also has a line image depicting a bustling view of the city of Seoul with a traditional hanok house with its distinctive roof shape and a Baekdu-daegan mountain silhouette.

On the other side of the car, the graphics is also mounted on the front door shield and is visible when the door frame is on. On the inside, the skyline logo is plastered at the bottom of the dashboard made of skin on the passenger side.

Buyers can also choose from the five exterior paints on this car in the Paint to Sample program, ranging from Ruby Red Metallic, Oak Green Metallic, Ipanema Blue Metallic, Macadamia Metallic, and Alex Gray.

There is a Porsche logo at the bottom of both sides of the car and the graphic color of the vinyl night is adjusted to the finishing paint of each. In addition, there is also a black badge on pillar B with the Porsche Exclusive Manufacturing logo.

The interior of Taycan Turbo K-Edition is also covered in luxurious Olea Club trim skin with several color variants. This car features three colorful strips on the middle panel of an attractive chair combining Atacama Beige with Basalt Black and Truffle Brown.

Based on Porsche Taycan Turbo, this car has a 650 kW electric motor that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 2.7 seconds using Launch Control.

Unfortunately, this car has not been announced a price and its sales period begins. However, manufacturers ensured the Taycan Turbo K-Edition is only available exclusively in Korea.
