BMW Motorrad Opens Ordering F 900 GS And F 900 GS Adventure

JAKARTA - BMW Motorrad has brought an adventurer-style motorcycle F 900 GS to the Indonesian market, precisely last August 16 at a price of Rp711.9 million On The Road DKI Jakarta.

Now, for the same model, orders have also been opened in the Indian market but not only F 900 GS but also F 900 GS Adventure which will replace the F 850 GS model.

Launching from BikeWale, Friday, August 23, the German manufacturer announced an order price starting at 1.295 million rupees (Rp241.8 million). Both types will be produced in a complete build-up (CBU) from Germany.

The F 900 GS basic model is designed to focus more on off-road than trim Adventure. The motor carries a more minimalist style with a slimmer dimension than the other types. The weight of the motor is more than 27 kg with a weight of 219 kg.

BMW F 900 GS uses a 21-inch patterned rim on the front and 17 inches combined with a block-pattered tire. The suspension itself consists of a USD fork up front and a monoshock on the back that can be adjusted manually.

Meanwhile, F 900 GS Adventure is oriented towards touring needs with larger highway tires and bodywork. This variant has a 23 liter fuel tank. Different from the basic variant, the Adventure type has an electronically customizable suspension arrangement.

Both F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure carry the latest 895 cc-capacity 2-cylinder engine with 103 dk of power at 8,500 rpm and a 93 Nm peak torque at 6,750 rpm. This is an increase of almost 10 dk and 1 Nm compared to the previous 853 cc engine.

These two motorbikes also prioritize advanced features to accommodate the driving needs of their drivers, ranging from large driving modes, tracking control, ABS, quick shiftrs, and 6.5-inch TFT screens.

Meanwhile, the F 900 GS motorbike has also been listed on the Indonesian market, precisely August 16, with a price of Rp. 711.9 million On The Road DKI Jakarta.
