PDIP Gives Terms To Anies If He Wants To Be Promoted In The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Including Having To Meet Megawati
Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that his party has not yet made a choice for Anies Baswedan to be promoted in the Jakarta Pilkada.
If the former governor of DKI Jakarta wants to be promoted by PDIP in the Jakarta gubernatorial election, PDIP will provide a number of conditions that Anies must carry out.
Among them are commitments to ideology and vision and mission as candidates for regional heads in line with PDIP to side with the people.
"During the commitment to ideology, taking sides with wong cilik, the party platform, it is held. Bersedia juga untuk memenuhi komitmen, termasuk bagaimana partai menyiapkan visi-mission, khususnya tentang politik tata ruangan," ujar Hasto di kantor DPP PDIP, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis, 22 Agustus.
"Then how to preserve the environment, the spatial rivers in Jakarta are well regulated, of course open (the opportunity to carry Anies)," he added.
If he really wants to sail with PDIP in the election contestation, Hasto asks Anies to come directly to meet PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"Actually, just come and say it's good, you can. Want to get support from PDIP," said Hasto.

Previously, Megawati Soekarnoputri responded to a proposal from a number of cadres for her party to carry Anies Baswedan as a candidate for governor in the Jakarta Pilkada.
Megawati began to see the Buana PDIP Cakra Task Force putting up support banners on Anies while heading to the PDIP DPP Office. Megawati immediately confirmed to the Head of the Komarudin Watubun Task Force.
"I'm surprised that there was a red-black shirt putting up the banner, tell Mr. Anies to work together, okay? I asked the Komar, 'What is the task force?'. He said Mr. Komar "oh, the task force wants to support Mr. Anies," Megawati said in her speech at the PDIP DPP office, Central Jakarta, Thursday, August 22.
Megawati also assumed that Anies did hope to be carried by PDIP in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Given that the former Governor of DKI Jakarta was abandoned by his party candidates, namely NasDem, PKB, and PKS.
The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia also questioned why Anies had not initially asked PDIP for support to run in the Jakarta Pilkada.
"I really like scratched my head, you know. It's really good, yes. Now we are looking for support. I'm confused, you know. Where were you (Anies) yesterday afternoon, huh? Well, don't do that," explained Megawati.
Megawati emphasized that her party would not be that easy to recommend against Anies. Anies, he continued, had to comply with the PDIP if he wanted to be promoted.
"I said, 'It's okay, why am I told to support Mr. Anies?' He's right if you want to be with the PDI-P? If you want the PDI-P, don't be like that, will you. Do you want to, obey?" he said.
