Abdul Gani Kasuba Is Worked On By The KPK, Investigators Are Investigating Projects From The Former Chairman Of The Gerindra North Maluku DPD Muhaimin Syarif
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined former North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba on Wednesday, August 21. He and three other witnesses were questioned about the project from Muhaimin Syarif, who is the former chairman of the North Maluku Gerindra Party DPD.
"The examination was carried out at Ternate Class II B State Detention Center," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in her statement, Thursday, August 22.
In addition, investigators are also working on three other witnesses in this case. They are the former Acting Head of PUPR for North Maluku Province, Daud Ismail; former aide to Abdul Gani, Ramadan Ibrahim; and Stevi Thomas C. as the former External Director of PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk.
"Investigators are investigating the flow of money to the suspect, projects related to the MS suspect and the AGK suspect's asset transaction," explained Tessa.
Previously reported, the KPK has detained the former chairman of the DPD Muhaimin Syarif alias Ucu. He is suspected of giving money to Abdul Gani Kasuba in the amount of Rp. 7 billion and can still develop according to the results of the investigation.

The money was given directly to Abdul Gani Kasuba or through his aide. Then he also gave it through family accounts, as well as institutions or parties affiliated with the former governor.
The anti-corruption commission said the award was intended to launch various things. The details are related to projects at the PUPR Office of North Maluku Province, the management of licensing for the IUP Production Operation of PT Prisma Utama in North Maluku, the management of the proposed determination of the Mining Business Permit Area (WIUP) to the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources signed by Abdul Gani Kasuba.
