Minister Basuki Calls FLPP Subsidized House Quota Adjusted To Prabowo Program
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said that the quota for subsidized housing for the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) scheme during the Prabowo Subianto administration era was in the hands of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).
Basuki ensured that the quota for subsidized houses in the Prabowo government was more than in 2024. The Ministry of PUPR has requested additional quotas for subsidized houses and will be allocated by the Ministry of Finance.
"Right now, we are asking for additional assistance from the Ministry of Finance. If the target (subsidized house) runs out, it means it's good because it's BA BUN (State General Treasurer Budget Section) directly under the Ministry of Finance," Basuki told reporters quoted Thursday, August 22.
"I forgot the numbers, (but) definitely more (than this year's FLPP quota) because of Pak Prabowo's program, right, 3 million houses. So, we adjust it to that," he continued.
Previously, the Secretary General of the Ministry of PUPR Mohammad Zainal Fatah said that the 2024 FLPP Home Ownership Credit (KPR) quota was 166,000 subsidized housing units sold out this August.
Zainal Fatah said that the village quota for the FLPP mortgage was sold out due to the lower figure compared to 2023 which reached 229,000 subsidized housing units.
"According to the calculation of the People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera), this August has run out. Everything has been distributed," said Zainal when met after a press conference on the Draft State Revenue and Expenditure Budget and the 2025 Financial Note at the office of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance, Jakarta, Friday, August 16.

Zainal said that his party had proposed this year's FLPP quota addition to the Ministry of Finance.
However, he said, until now there has been no signal that subsidized housing financing facilities provided to low-income people (MBR) will be added.
"I don't know yet, the money is not with us. However, the principle in terms of program we propose (a quota increase) because we see there is a need and indeed this year it is smaller," he said.
