Basuki Hadimuljono Proposes IKN Authority Budget Of IDR 26 Trillion In 2025, For What?
JAKARTA - Acting (Plt) Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono revealed that he would propose an OIKN budget next year to reach Rp26 trillion.
Basuki said that the budget would mainly be allocated to provide support for maintenance costs of a number of facilities and infrastructure to IKN development.
"If it leaks, we propose Rp26 trillion," said Basuki, quoted on Wednesday, August 21.
Meanwhile, the indicative ceiling obtained by the IKN Authority for the 2025 FY is known to be only IDR 505 billion. However, this figure, said Basuki, does not cover the cost of maintaining the facilities and infrastructure that have been built.
Thus, continued Basuki, currently his party continues to build coordination between OIKN and the Ministry of PUPR to formulate a number of IKN development programs.
"We happened to be concurrent, so we made the program, coordinated here. Which one to do by PUPR, which one to do by IKN. It has been done," he added.
Previously, OIKN had requested an additional budget of IDR 29.8 trillion for 2025.
This was conveyed by Acting Deputy Chief of OIKN Raja Juli Antoni during a working meeting (Raker) with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, June 10.
The man who is familiarly called Antoni said that a meeting had previously been held between OIKN, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas to discuss this matter.

"On June 7, 2024, we submitted an additional budget proposal for 2025. In the meeting of the three parties, we recorded several budget needs that have not been allocated in the 2025 indicative ceiling with a total of Rp29.8 trillion," he said.
Even so, said Antoni, this is still a proposal and needs to be discussed with several ministries/agencies. Because, there is still potential for these funds to be shifted to other ministries.
"Earlier, we proposed Rp29 trillion. Whether it is accepted or not or partly shifted to another ministry, it will be discussed later. So, if there is a need for real submission of BMN, then we have a responsibility to manage it well," he said.
