This Is The Key To The Success Of The 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony At The State Palace IKN Karya PTPP

JAKARTA - The celebration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day in 2024 will be carried out in a different way. Previously, the state ceremony was held at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, at this celebration the ceremony was also held for the first time at the State Palace located in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN), precisely at the IKN Ceremony Field.

The 79th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony at the IKN State Palace was a success. A series of events such as raising and lowering the red and white flag took place without any problems. This ceremony is also supported by quite cool weather.

The success of the entire series of RI's 79th Anniversary ceremony at the Garuda Palace is the result of the hard work of all parties, including the government, the private sector, and also BUMN. PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) is a designated and responsible BUMN in the construction of the State Palace & Ceremony, as well as the Garuda Palace.

The Ceremony Field used for the RI Anniversary ceremony has an area of 14,250 m2 and is able to accommodate 8,700 people. There is a 660 m2 toilet to support the needs of basic facilities for visitors and officers. In addition, this ceremonial field is also equipped with the utility of the electricity network which is fully supported by PLN to ensure the smooth running of the entire series of ceremonies.

Meanwhile, the Garuda Palace or the presidential office which has a magnificent Garuda bar covers a land area of 33,207 m2, a site area of 3,397 m2, and a building area of 11,200 m2. There are various supporting facilities for presidential activities inside the Garuda Palace such as press conference rooms, work rooms, and even the presidential resting room.

PTPP Corporate Secretary Joko Raharjo explained that the construction of the State Palace and Garuda Palace at IKN is a strategic symbol in the plan to move the capital city of Indonesia to Kalimantan. This project is expected to support the government's program in moving the new nation's capital to the archipelago and strengthening the country's sovereignty.

"This step is also taken by taking into account the principles of environmental sustainability, and supporting sustainable growth in the future," Joko explained, in a written statement, Tuesday, August 20.

Regarding the environmental sustainability side, Joko revealed that the construction of the State Palace and State Palace has implemented certification for Green Building Building Building Buildings (BGH) and Smart Building Buildings (BGC), which are managed by the Ministry of PUPR. BGH and BGC are initiatives aimed at improving environmental sustainability and operational efficiency in buildings.

"The BGH concept emphasizes the efficient use of resources, good waste management, and optimal indoor environmental quality. Meanwhile, BGC integrates advanced technology to optimize the overall use of energy, water, and building infrastructure," said Joko.

The application of BGH and BGC certification in the Garuda Palace project shows a strong commitment to sustainable and sustainable practices. This certification not only measures achievements in terms of environmental sustainability, but also ensures that the building meets the highest standards in resource efficiency and management.

"By achieving the highest points in certification, this project is not only an example in environmentally friendly development, but also provides a significant positive contribution to the surrounding environment," said Joko.

The construction of the State Palace & Ceremony Field, as well as the Garuda Palace in the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago is an important project for Indonesia, describing the country's new identity by paying attention to cultural and environmental values.

In addition, by involving local workers, this project not only creates jobs but also increases regional economic independence, reflecting the unity between modern technology and human hard work for a better future in Indonesia.
