Facelift Version Of Genesis GV60 Caught By Road Test Camera In Europe, What Has Changed?

JAKARTA - Genesis, a premium brand under the Hyundai Motor Group umbrella, is reportedly working on a facelift version of GV60 and the model is caught on camera being tested on European roads.

Launching from Carscoops, Tuesday, August 20, the car was caught on surveillance cameras covered by a cover blanket. The SUV is rumored to have a reinforced structure with a thicker B pillar.

Genesis GV60 terbaru diperkirakan akan memiliki fasia depan terbaru dengan bumper yang mendapat perbaikan serta terdapat intake tengah yang juga direvisi. Bagian belakang juga mendapatkan perubahan minor.

The changes don't just stop there, this brand will also revise the suspension tuning and improvements to Noise, Vibration, and Harness (NVH).

Not only that, but the inside also gets a number of updates. The most striking thing about the interior is the flat-bottomed steering wheel equipped with contrasted red stitches and the latest screen display.

The latest screen is designed to connect and not separate like the previous version. The manufacturer removes the black line that separates the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster from the 12.3-inch infotainment system.

This brand from South Korea is still covering its mouth regarding its specifications. However, it is estimated that the GV60 facelift will use a fourth-generation battery pack such as the Kia EV6 facelift. The battery is claimed to have a higher energy density than before.

Thus, the battery is increased in capacity from 77.4 kWh to 84 kWh so that it has an additional range of 19 km. Thus, the distance can reach almost 500 km in one charge.

In addition to larger batteries, Genesis GV60 is expected to have more impressive charging capabilities. With a DC 350 kW fast-charging, it is estimated that this model can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
