The U-17 Indonesian National Team Focuses On Engineering Training To Face India In Trials
JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team will undergo a trial agenda against India on August 25 and 27, 2024. Ahead of the match which became a series of training camps (TC), Nova Arianto's squad focused on undergoing technical training.
"After we finished TC for one week in Bali, the players focused on general preparation, how to form the physical basis of the players, after one week, we moved to the Kuta area on the Trisakti field," Nova said as quoted on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
"This time our focus is on preparing to fight India on August 25 and 27, 2024. So, we are getting used to general preparations. This week we will focus on technique," Nova said again.

Nova revealed that there were three players who no longer joined the team during the TC and the selection of Indonesia U-17 in Bali. The three names are Faril Afdarul Yadi (PPLP Aceh), Dendry Muharman (PSDS Deli Serdang), and Atletico Artha Gading (PFA).
After the three players were sent home, two players joined, namely Mathew Baker and Lucas Lee.
"We have returned the three players to the club. So, now we just have to defend 31 players. They will be seen again, whether they can be brought to Spain or not," said Nova.
"(Mathen) Baker will arrive today (20 August 2024). If Lucas arrived yesterday (19 August 2024). I hope their presence can help the team," said Nova.
The training camp conducted by Indonesia U-17 to prepare itself to appear in the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup Qualification, 23-27 October 2024, in Kuwait.
