Agus Gumiwang: Golkar Mampu Lalui Badai Usai Airlangga Mundur

JAKARTA - Acting Ketum Golkar, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said his party respects Airlangga Hartarto's decision to suddenly resign as general chairman. According to Agus, as a party that already has experience, Golkar will be able to go through a 'badai' by choosing a new general chairman. "Therefore, the Golkar Party is very strategic to carry out a National Conference. God willing, it will be opened today and tomorrow. In accordance with our constitution AD/ART, prior to the implementation of the National Conference must go through a meeting of national leaders attended by the council and administrators of the Golkar plenary session," Agus Gumiwang said in his remarks at the Rapimnas and XI Golkar National Conference at JCC, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 20. According to Agus, Golkar must look forward. Because there is still a Pilkada, the inauguration of DPR/DPRD members, the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, which requires a definitive general chairman. Golkar, Agus said, must oversee the stability of the government transition from Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin to the Prabowo-Gibran government. Golkar must also ensure that the future government runs successfully towards advanced Indonesia.
