Beware Of Traffic Jams, Jasa Marga Makes Repairs At Two Points Of The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) announced that it will repair roads on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road on Sunday, August 18 starting at 08.00 WIB until Saturday, August 24.

Senior Manager Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Amri Sanusi Toll Road said the road repair was in order to meet Minimum Service Standards (SPM).

"We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the existence of the work," Amri said in a written statement quoted on Monday, August 19.

He said that his party had prepared mitigation procedures, including diverting traffic flow that was affected before the work area, narrowing the work area, preparing contraflows if the traffic conditions were heavy and coordinating with the Highway Patrol Police (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) in traffic control.

"To ensure that this information is well received by road users, PT JTT has also socialized work plans by installing outdoor media in the form of job appeal banners and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Jakarta and Cikampek," he said.

Furthermore, Amri appealed to all road users to anticipate travel, ensure that vehicles are in prime condition, have sufficient electronic money balance, refuel before starting the trip. Always be careful and obey signs, especially around the location of the work.

The details of the date and location of the road work on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road are as follows:

1. Sunday, August 18 at 08.00 WIB until Thursday, August 22 at 14.00 WIB there was a bridge reconstruction at KM 62 + 720 towards Cikampek lane 2

2. Monday, August 19 from 08.00 WIB to Saturday, August 24 at 09.00 WIB there is road reconstruction at KM 32 + 018 to KM 31 + 846 towards Jakarta lane 2
