This Is The Reason Jokowi Reshuffles The Cabinet Ahead Of 2 Months To Change The President
The Palace revealed the reason for President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to reshuffle his cabinet ahead of the two months of changing his head of state.
The cabinet change will be announced by President Jokowi during the inauguration at the Palace on Monday 19 August 2024, at 09.30.
"The appointment of ministers, deputy ministers and heads of agencies is needed to prepare and support the transition to government so that it runs well, smoothly and effectively," said Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana to VOI, Monday, August 19 morning.
The ministers and heads of agencies that President Jokowi will inaugurate this morning are the Minister of Law and Human Rights, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Minister of Investment, the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information, the Head of the National Nutrition Agency, the Head of the Presidential Communication Office and the Head of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency.

However, Ari was reluctant to reveal the names of the ministers, heads of agencies, and deputy ministers who were sworn in this morning.
Based on the information obtained, President Jokowi's cabinet re-shake includes Bahlil Lahadalia, who is now the Minister of Investment/BKPM, replaced by Rosan Roeslani, who is the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team in the 2024 Presidential Election.
Meanwhile, Bahlil will fill the position of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources who is currently occupied by Arifin Tasrin.
Meanwhile, Gerindra Party politician Supratman Andi Agtas will serve as Minister of Law and Human Rights replacing PDI-P politician Yasonna Laoly.
