Persib Coach Sambut Positive 2 Players Called To The Indonesia-Philippine National Team
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak positively welcomed the summons of two of his players to each national team. Bojan Hodak feels this situation is good for the player's development itself.
The two Persib Bandung players who were called were Dimas Drajat to the Indonesian national team and Kevin Ray Mendoza for the Philippine national team. Bojan felt that this summons was positive, especially since the two players were mainstays in their respective countries.
"Of course it is good for every player who goes to defend the national team," said Bojan Hodak in his statement quoted on Sunday, August 18.
"It's also good because the competition is more difficult and they will return to be Persib players," added the Croatian man.
However, Hodak confirmed that Dimas and Kevin Mendoza would still be with Persib Bandung first. In fact, both of them were prepared to face Dewa United at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Gianyar Stadium, Bali on Monday 19 August.
In preparation, Hodak continued, admitted that Persib Bandung was ready to fight against Dewa United. This was stated by the coach confidently, considering that the duration of Persib's preparation lasted quite a long time, namely 10 days.
"So far everything is okay, everything is good. I think we are ready for the game," he said.
For FIFA Matchday where two Persib players will move closer to their respective national teams, the agenda itself will only take place in early September 2024. That means, there are still two weeks left for Persib Bandung to use the services of its players before being called up to the national team.
